These pretty pink blooms from the redbud tree at work inspired this little shoot in the rain. I kinda sorta cut a few stems from my boss’ redbud tree when I left work today. Then I gathered up a few things from around the house for a vintage feel. It’s that simple to create ”spring art”. I think I’ll have to print some of these for my walls at home. Have I told you in the last day or two how much I love the warm early spring?

LESS THAN 100 CALORIES EACH!!! That means I can eat 6 at a time, right? no comments I’m back this week with only one outfit. I rarely get sick enough to want to come home from work and go straight to bed but this is apparently my lucky year. I’m going on 2 weeks now and I’m still feeling up to par. Soooo, I’ve either thrown on the comfiest clothes I could find or haven’t had the energy to get pictures of my outfits that were halfway acceptable. The Pleated Poppy will have many more outfits for you to check out until I get my energy back. Shirt – Maurices / Jeans – Silver from Maurices / Belt – American Eagle / Boots - Two Chic Blvd. / Hat – The Buckle / Necklace – freebie from Charlotte Russe (it has black feathers, but you can’t see them) no comments Happy, happy first day of spring! I can’t tell you how excited I am for the sunshine and warm weather!! Although for a cold weather hater, I have to say this past winter was the best ever. One good snow and then warmer weather moved in. It was my personal ideal winter. (Sorry allergy and asthma sufferers!) Now bring on the green grass and pretty flowers. no comments It’s Monday, the start of a brand new week! I caught a bug a week and a half ago and I’m still not feeling 100% but it’s a new week and I’m going to make the best of it! Let’s celebrate Monday by taking a look at what my family did over the weekend. no comments |
