Every so often it's fun to get creative and shoot something new and different while trying out new techniques. There's no pressure to get everything "just right" for a paying client. It's just me, my camera and a session that I dream up in my head.  I called this session a Prom Dress Shoot-Out.  I knew I wanted a couple of high school girls, their prom dresses and the juxtaposition with rusty junk stuff.  It was so much fun!  Sam and Elizabeth were rockstars tromping around in their sequins, rhinestones and high heels through the dirt and weeds.  Then we went inside and traded the heels for cowgirl boots.  I  couldn't think of a better way to spend a summer afternoon. I captured some awesome images, practiced a few new techniques and spent the afternoon with two beautiful girls. I think it's been awhile since I've mentioned how much I LOVE my job! How cute are these shoes?!
