My sweet tooth struck again. But this time it’s okay. Or, so I tell myself. This cake is nearly fat free. Sprite replaces the eggs and oil in the cake mix. The Jell-O is fat and sugar free. The Cool-Whip is fat free. Heck, the way I see it, this cake is healthy for me. Sprite Cake

*I first had this cake when my friend Amy brought it to a meeting and then passed on the recipe. Thanks Amy! 1 white cake mix 1 can Diet Sprite or Sprite Zero 1 box sugar-free strawberry Jell-O 1 tub fat free Cool Whip In medium bowl, mix white cake mix with 1 can of Sprite. Pour into greased cake pan and bake according to the directions on the cake mix box. Let the cake cool. Poke holes in the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon. In a small bowl, mix the Jell-O with half of the water called for in the directions. Pour the Jell-O over the cake. Top cake with fat free Cool Whip. Refrigerate at least one hour before serving. Now, refrain from eating the entire cake in one sitting.
