I'm STILL editing pictures from our cruise back in January. I've shared images from our stops in St. Thomas and Nassau, Bahamas. Our last stop was in St. Maarten. After a small change in plans when our chartered catamaran didn't show up due to them having us scheduled on the wrong day, we ended up on Pinel Island. Our intent was to do some snorkeling but the winds were so high that everything was stirred up under the water and we couldn't see much of anything. Instead we enjoyed playing on the beach, doing a little trinket shopping and having lunch on the tiny island that actually had no electricity.  No one lives on the island.  Employees and vacationers are boated to the island each day and electricity is provided by generators.  It was a fun experience.  When you're in such a beautiful warm location in the middle of January, it's hard to complain even when things don't exactly go as planned.
