Another Wednesday, another link up with The Pleated Poppy for some wardrobe inspiration. I've found that since I've been doing these WIMCW posts I've been digging deeper into my closet and pairing things that I have never worn together before. I'm adding belts to dresses and stepping out of my matchy matchy comfort zone. I'm even experimenting more with my hair styles. Despite having to post pictures of myself each Wednesday, I'm really enjoying this process. This week I'm getting all kinds of crazy and posting a couple of outfits I've worn recently. This is an old outfit that I hadn't worn in forever. It's not my favorite, but it does the job. Shirt, tank and earrings: Maurices. Shorts: Kohl's. Flip flops: Old Navy. Hat: Hobby Lobby. I added the peace sign. It was originally intended for my daughter, but the hat was too big for her. Guess it's mine now. This outfit is going out on a limb for me. The sweater I've had forever and haven't worn in probably two years. The bracelets and necklace I wore once two years ago with a white dress. I drug them out of the closet paired them with a comfy black skirt and tried my best to pull it off. I think this outfit may be bad luck. I was wearing it the day I cut my foot open and had to have my leg hiked up on the table while they stitched my foot back together. Sweater: Maurices. Tank: Kohl's. Bracelets and necklace: Charlotte Russe. Flip flops: Famous Footwear.
